why'd you name your characters that?

You just put why you named your characters a certain name... I'll go first.



XYLANDER: Xy's name came off a handy dandy list of unique names. I wanted him to have one of those MOST unique you can get.
JOHNATHON: I wanted Xy to have a slightly normal but kind of unused middle name so he wasn't full of exotic names.
HYRNEK: Got it out of a book....


RIGG: Got it out of a book called Pathfinder
DAMIEN: Came from a charrie I had on another site. Just transferred the name over.
EASTWOOD: I wanted a last name that made him sound "rich". Got it off another handy dandy list.


JAMES: James Bond, FTW!
ASHTON: Sadly enough, Ashton Kutcher... was watching a chick flick at the time w/ Kutcher in it. xD
MILLER: Just a random last name. First thing that came to mind. xD

VICTORI just watched despicable me again and I was all-"Dude! Victor would be a cool name! He would sound European too! And Vic is a cool nickname!" yeah that's how it went down!
RYANI think it was 'cause I was talking to my cousin ryan and was trying to think of a cool middle name! The name Ryan always reminds me of my cous and he's awesome! Idk I guess I was hopin the awesomeness would rub off the name XPP
CORNELLI don't particularly remember how I came up with this name. It was from my 3rd character ever from another site, and I just transferred the name! His PB was Hayden christanson! Hes an awesome PB!

JENNA: I had a character eons ago with the first name Jenna and I absolutely fell in love with that name. It's normal, but not too normal. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not something that you'd see everyday.

RIANNE: This is a fun name, because it can either be pronounced 'ry-ann' or just simply 'ryan' (like a guy's name). I had the pronunciation picked out in my mind for what I wanted it to be, but then I thought it would be much cooler if everyone else chose how they thought it would be pronounced in their head. Also, I love this name.[/font]
TAYLOR: Taylor is a typical last name, something that's not too rich sounding but just simply... average. Taking Jenna's background into consideration, I felt like Taylor was the most fitting. Also I love the way 'Jenna Taylor' sounds together- it flows & sounds simple but different.[/font]

PARK: This name was definitely one of the hardest parts to figure out about his character. I wanted Park to have a name that stood out, but rolled off the tongue and was difficult yet easy to remember- like his personality. I thought of the name Park in the beginning of my search, but was unsure how that would sound. I went on sites like babynamegenie.com & so many more to make sure it sounded alright. For me, it was perfect.[/font]
RUSSO: Pronounced 'roo-so'. It wasn't until after I creating him with this middle name did I think that it could have falsely been pronounced as 'russ-o'. Anyway, I thought it would be different name and I liked it![/font]
EVANS: Park was a canon, so his last name was already given (:[/font]

AARON: Thank you Chels XD Though I was sort of meh about it at first, the name really grew on me and now I think I love it. Apparently, Chels says this was generated.
VINCENT: Once again, credit to Chels XD His middle name does remind me of Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy though Chels says this was also generated from a baby name thing.
SHIELDS: Aaaand again it's all thanks to Chels. His last name makes me lolz because I find it awesome XD His last name came from some person in Sailor Moon, according to Chels.

So basically, it was all Chels XD

BLISS: i've read two books in which one of the character's were named bliss and i fell in love with the name. i really love the feminine touch to it and it sounds so elegant.
MERCURY: this was totally random, it's unique, i liked it especially since bliss has a somewhat normal personality.
DEVOE: her last name was originally llewellyn, but since the name bliss llewellyn was from a book i had to change it and DeVoe came to me. It sounds kind of rich, but i remembered the name from a girls varsity basketball team roster at my school. lol.

Desirae: I absolutely LOVE this name. That's basically it. ;D

Jetta: I made up Desirae's her name a really long time ago, so I'm not exactly sure where I got the middle name from, but I think I typed in "unique girl names" in Google and found it and liked it.

Cole: I just typed in "american surnames" in Google and picked one that sounded good with Desirae Jetta.

COOPER. well cooper is a super adorable name and reminds me of a super adorable person that i've met xD xander helped!
HENRY the name of my muse! and it just sounds nice with cooper.

BROOKE ♥ Well, I've really always loved this name, even though it's such a common one. It seemed to fit the kind of personality that I wanted the character to have, so that's what I chose it.
NICOLE ♥ This is my friend's little sister's middle name and I thought it flowed nicely with the first name. Plus, it's actually a very pretty name.
DAVIS ♥ Oddly enough, this is one of my ex boyfriend's last names. It kind of fit the rich but not snobby It Girl/Queen Bee thing I was going for.


NATALIE ♥ This is a name I've always loved as well, and it really fit the personality type I wanted for her. Sweet, seemingly innocent, and adorable.
ROSE ♥ To me, the name represents fragility, delicacy and innocence, which is the kind of person that Natalie is and the kind of life she's had so far.
WINDSOR♥ This was a filled character request, so Jade provided me with this last name.

SYDNEY i think sydney is a beautiful name and it reminds me of australia. i've used this name for a while especially with erika altosaar.
GRACE grace just seems to really mesh with sydney.

CARSON: Picked it out of a unique names bank.. and I thought it fit his pb pretty well..
LEVI: I've always loved Levi as a name.. and it sounded really good with Carson..
WILLIAMS: Just picked something completely generic.. and it worked!

LUKE originally his name was going to be luciano from one of my favorite books but i ended up just shortening it to luke and leaving it like that.
ANTHONY works great with luke?
MOREAU well he's french so he needed a french last name. it also happened to be the same last name as a girl on a show i watched.
