Desirae is just your average diva. She may not look like it, but when she needs to, she can be fierce. She won't stand for anyone who gets in her way, she'll simply shove them aside. She has her mind set on one thing and one thing only: to be a famous performer. She she won't show mercy to anyone who gets in her way. However, she's not all bad. She's got some good in her. She can be kind, friendly, respectful, and loyal. She loves people, just as long as they stay on her good side.

As said above, Desirae is a diva whether she'll admit it or not, so finding a good, trustworthy friend is a little harder for her than for others. However, to her friends, she puts her diva attitude aside and shows them a more compassionate side of herself that someone wouldn't normally see. She is very trust worthy, if her friend tells her a secret, she will keep it no matter what. If her friend needs a shoulder to cry on, her shoulder is ready and waiting. If her friend is being harassed she isn't afraid to go up to that person and give them a piece of her mind. Overall, no matter how much of a diva she is, she is a good friend.

No matter how much practice she's gotten in the theater, outside of the theater Desirae knows absolutely nothing about love. In the theater, she's given a role and lines to say and she has to put emotion into it, easy enough, right? But she has absolutely no clue about how relationships work in real life. However, she's not so completely ignorant about relationships that she'd let a guy take advantage of her, but she's not experienced enough to know how it all works. She's never had a boyfriend because she's never been focused on getting one. And because she's never dated, she has no idea what she wants out of a guy. She just wants someone she can be happy with.

Desirae's only real enemy was, is, and will always be her step mother. However, she also doesn't like people who get in her way of things she wants. If someone gets on her bad side, she isn't afraid to do what needs to be done to get them out of her way, no matter how nasty it is.

Fake friends for sure. They hang out with the same crowd but I don't think they'd TRULY be friends. So they could be fake friends. -nodnod-

Jake LOVES to act as well. While he isn't going to try and be an actor or anything; it is a fun hobby for him and he really enjoys it, and he is good at it too. I could see them meeting in Drama Club or during the school play becoming friends. Not like best friends, but good friends. Hang out and stuff, but don't tell each other secrets and feelings. So, I'm thinking that Natalie and Desirae should have some kind of interaction. They're similar personality wise, so I could see them being friends, maybe even best friends. Nat's new to Belmont this year after transferring from an all girl's school, but she and Desirae could have known each other through their parents and grown up together (childhood/best friends), but gone to different schools until now. Something like that, maybe? What do you think?

I totally like your idea I could see a pretty good friendship forming between these two. The only things is that before junior year, Rae was living in Miami with her father and step mom, so the only way they could have known each other beforehand would be if Rae had accompanied her father on a business trip to New York. it didn't happen so much during the school year, but she did go with him a lot over the summers so they could have met each other then and kept in touch, but didn't really become best friends until they started going to Belmont together. But other than that your idea is perfect

Desirae and Olivia could have met working on a theatre production or something since Desirae likes to perform and Olivia's all about behind the scenes work. They both seem like loyal people that run in small circles and their personalities could kind of balance each other out. Desirae seems more outgoing while Olivia is more calm and passive. I don't know, just a couple of ideas.
