It had taken her a lot of time to adapt to this society. The society that could resemble her old life, but hedonism was more apparent here. She noticed how all these people raced to be able to get the latest and most greatest of things, and how they seemed to just awe at everything that was on display. Trinity felt nothing really, her own eyes set on the Chanel store that was about a few yards from her location. She stepped in, shopping calmly, looking at items for school and things that could possibly look flattering on her slim figure. She was petite, but she held some curves. Her eyes fell on the pale cream dress and she picked it up, going to try it on and then deciding she’d buy it. After an hour of Chanel, she jumped over to other stores, lounging about and picking up a few things, stopping by Victoria’s Secret on the way as well. She walked, her heels clicking on the sidewalk. Her eyes transfixed on something new. She stepped into the boutique and found a few things she had found interesting. As she tried them on, the sales clerk marveled at how well it fit her. Typical though, these women would do anything to sell anything to you. Their only concern was that of Benjamin and not Trinity’s. It was funny though, because as the wielder of this American express card, shouldn’t she be considered? No. That was never how it went. It made Trinity shake her head, because obviously she looked like a giant tomatoe in this frock. She slipped out of the foreign cloths and slipped back into the comfort of her alluring smell. Vanilla with some sort of spice, a perfume she had recently fallen in love with.
She paid for those too, and made her way out towards the shopping plaza. She pulled out her blackberry bold, the white phone in her hands, she typed away to her brother, asking him if there was anything he needed. ‘Socks, some formal shirts perhaps’ was all he responded, so she did as she was told, and she fetched Jace what he needed. The mens bag hidden between the feminine pinks and reds and black Chanel bags she had. Trinity may not have had a lot of strength, but she seemed just fine as she lugged about twenty pounds of purchases. She kept walking, puffing a bit as she went, only because now it seemed to dwell on her that she could not just walk around holding all these bags. Older women gave her a look, a jealous look. Not only were they jealous of her youth, but of how carelessly she spent her money. But then again, weren’t those women doing the same? They had twice as many things as she did and she certainly didn’t buy everything for herself. Some were for her mother, and a few for Jace. She always loved shopping for other people. It was a thing, oh wait- was that, - Ice cream? She looked at the family sharing sundae’s and got a great idea. She knew what she wanted now. She mused at the name of the cafe, "Tres bon, c'est tres bon..." was all she said as she stepped to the entrance.
She stepped into the café, greeting the waiter and asking for a seat outside. Although the inside was gorgeous and looked cozy, she just had to sit outside. Today was such a nice day, she just insisted on sitting outside. She ordered an ice cream sundae, a smile forming on her lips. She knew she shouldn’t since she had had a great breakfast and lunch, but it was almost seven PM, and all the stores were going to close in a few hours. A lot of things crossed her mind at the moment as she waited for sundae goodness. How was she going to explain to her mother about how she felt living here? How did she feel? The sense of awkwardness in a new place was inevitable. And in lieu of telling her mother how she felt, she told Jace everything. No one really took notice of her, especially because she was like a wall flower. Pasted to the walls of the stores, just wandering around, her floral dress of soft fabric and her nude heels. She didn’t make much of a statement, only because she insisted on not calling attention. Plus, she felt more comfortable this way. She loved girly clothing, especially the color nude. She was content when she recieved her sundae, it was pretty big for her stature, but whatever .She'd devour it if she had too. It was too good to not eat. She gave a small giggle and dove in, but then realized she had some on her nose. Oh no, where were the napkins? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

_________________________________________ I should get some new clothes and gear were the thoughts on Caleb’s head as he layed on the couch watching t.v. He’d been at home for most of the day and figured he should at least get his body moving a little before a small fight he had at night. The thought of the process to get ready and go was already tiring him out. But nonetheless the tall, built senior sat up from his couch, turned the tv off and headed to his room. Minutes later he hopped out of the shower placing his towel around his waist and turning to face the mirror. A wound he had on his right eyebrow was healing and now it only looked like a minor cut but Caleb still put his soothing cream over it because he wanted it gone already. When he was done with that he scattered around his room for clothes and then was headed out the door.
As Caleb walked out the complex, he saw a mustang zoom by and dreaded that he didn’t have one yet. Instead Caleb pulled out his ipod and placed each earpiece in his ear beginning his walk. Sure he could have called a taxi to get over to the plaza quicker but he enjoyed walking and not rushing everywhere, especially in a city like Manhattan where everyone was so ‘on’ all the time. Caleb much preferred being around fresh air and observing the movement of the town. As he arrived to the plaza, Caleb stepped into a fitness store to get some new shorts, gloves, and jackets for when it started to get cold out. The money he was making and saving was more than enough to pay for such things.
About an hour later Caleb walked out with about two bags and leftover money in his back pocket. As he raised his arm to look at his watch he noted that it would be close to seven pm already. Soon he would have to go home and warm up and head over to the train tracks where the fighting occurred. Knowing he had a list of things to do at home made his desire to cook decrease more and more. I could stop by the café to grab a quick bite he thought as he walked with his ipod plugged into his ears and a both bags on his right hand. As he approached the café he pulled out his phone as he walked into the café to check if he had received a message on who he would be fighting that night. Nope, guess not he said to himself as he approached the small line of customers waiting to be taken care of.
Caleb examined the menu debating what he would get and decided he would get a caesar salad with a ham club sandwich. When it was his turn Caleb ordered and grabbed the food heading to the condiment stand. He grabbed some packets of ketchup and stuffed his bag with a good amount of napkins to last him for a while, why waste money on them when you could get them for free, right? He placed them in his bag and started heading out the door looking for his house keys and ipod in his pockets since he wasn’t that far away. Caleb pushed the door open and started heading out making a left passing the tables and noticed a girl, a very attractive girl, having some issues with her sundae. He smirked a little stopping in his tracks and opening his bag to take out a napkin. “Something tells me you need this more than I do” he said with a sly smirk handing her a napkinWords:617 Outfit: Click Notes: Done

She sat there, pondering about how she was going to deal with herself. A lot of people warned her as she made her purchases, that the kids would be heartless bastards. But she never really thought that. Every single person she had ever met had been nice people, so surely America had to be the same. Genuine kindness wasn’t that hard to achieve, if one believed in karma. Trinity didn’t exactly swear on karma, but she had a general sense of it and believed it to an extent. There was nothing Trinity was ever really passionate about, except school and family. She always believed in her family. Art was a hobby, she was fond of it, but she didn’t do it often, she never had any time ever since they had moved- so it was placed on the back burner. Her time had consisted of learning the fashion here, to an extent and learning a few of the customs, as well as unpacking. After everything was settled in, Trinity and Jace spent a lot of time touring around the streets of Manhattan.
They spent a lot of time at restaurants too, because they still needed to hire a live in chef. Therefore, she had a general idea of the area, but Jace was the one who knew it best. This little café, she had not visited before, so she was pleasantly surprised that there was always something new. That was when she had spaced out far too much because she had gotten the whipped cream on her. She laughed at herself and a little more when a handsome blonde male appeared from thin air offering her napkins from his mysterious book bag. She looked at him with a curious look and then smiled, accepting his offer of cleanliness and she wiped it all off. “My word, thank you…eh, sir.” She said, unaware of his name. Her French accent coming across strongly. She was French, and there was no denying it. The innocence in her wardrobe and the way she looked at him gave it all away. She wasn’t the most normal female within the radius. Sure you might’ve had the psychopathic terrorist down the lane, but today- she was the oddball. She looked as he had something in his possession. “Eh-Uhm, y-you can sit here, since I see no more seating arrangements…” she said meekly, stuttering the first word and turning a scarlet hue.
She passed her hand in front of her face as a way of hiding her faint hue of scarlet. She looked away too, as she stared inside the store. Would Caleb take any interest in the strange but kind female? She seemed friendly, and she was. She let another spoonful of vanilla ice cream enter her parted lips and she looked back up at him through her thick dark lashes. “May I ask of your name?” she asked him with a smile, extending her hand to her open chair. She was trying to be friendly Trinity, but the beast of shy demeanor wanted the upperhand. Why did she have to be a meek child? Her piercing blue eyes gazed into his, and she caught his gaze, only for a few seconds before she broke eye contact. That enough, was too much for the petite French girl. How was she going to make friends at her new school if she couldn’t even hold a conversation with one normal kid from the street? She made a mental note that she needed to improve on that.

_________________________________________ Since Caleb got to Manhattan about three months ago, he had gotten really used to the area. It was a little better than So Cal when you look at the people and the activities that they did on their free time. If Caleb took any of his new friends from Manhattan to where he used to live in California, they would probably feel extremely uncomfortable and maybe even….frightened. Unfortunately for Caleb, he always lived in the wrong neck of the woods, the only time he didn’t was when he was taken in by a very religious family. The house was nice, but so many things were ‘out of bounds’ besides their kitchen, dining room and bedrooms. So stupid he thought to himself remembering how he had to live through it before they took him back to the group home because he lit their church on fire, he was 14 at the time. Something he sort of regrets now, but what’s done is done, right? Maybe one day in the future, Caleb would try to find that family and apologize for what he did, maybe, but he wasn’t too sure about it just yet.
At times, when Caleb caught himself alone in his apartment, his past was on his mind very often than not. Who he was now was a person a lot tamer than before. Before, that person would have ended up in jail and now, the new person was doing their best to stay out of trouble, a little. Sure he smoked weed and drank liquor as if it was water, but besides that he wasn’t really harmful to anyone unless they asked for it or they were his opponent at the underground. One thing, however, that really set him off was when people who had a little more money than everyone else acted as if they had more rights and could do whatever they wanted. To Caleb, everyone was equal, and it’s not the money that makes you who you are, it’s your character and actions. He never had a problem putting those kinds of people in their place, for him it was a must. These thoughts all fled his mind as he saw the girl sitting in one of the tables outside. Someone who Caleb hadn’t seen yet, and it was unfortunate he hadn’t.
It seemed as if she accidentally got some of the sundae on her nose and instead of being a creepy stranger, he decided to help her and grabbed a napkin from the handful he grabbed from inside the café, and handed it to her. The response he got, was a little different than what he was used too. Sir? He thought to himself feeling a little old. It was obvious that the girl was French, something that intrigued him. He smirked a little trying not to let out a little surprised laugh to seem rude “Oh, no problem” he said with a slight nod. “I figured that no one else would help, and I’d feel guilty if I didn’t and you had to walk into the café with ice cream on your face” he said with a small chuckle, to anyone that probably would be embarrassing. The girl seemed a little shy as she invited him to sit with her. He wasn’t in a hurry but did have somewhere to be later. But at the same time, he didn’t want to decline her offer.
“All right, well thanks for letting me join you” he said with a small smile as he put his bags down and took a seat in front of her. Caleb looked right at the girl and couldn’t help but think that she was very attractive. He couldn’t help but smirk when she asked if she could know his name, for manners this girl probably would have received 100%. “I’m Caleb….and you are?” he asked as he put his sandwich on the table and started to unwrap it. The girl was definitely cute, but really shy. He looked around briefly then put his attention back on the girl. “So, what brings you to the café?” he asked trying to initiate some conversation with her, if not then they’d both be eating silently and that was just awkward.

Her arrival to Manhattan had been a difficult one. Sure, her family had wealth, and they were beautiful people inside and out, but when it came down to being conniving and deceiving, she was in last place. Trinity was a genuine girl, always willing to run the mile for whomever needed her. She had came down the airplane, hoping for the best. Their family missed them dearly, but her father had business to attend to. Her father had settled in quite quickly, resuming work and playing hard. Her mother, had it easy. All she did was shop and attend various shows. She never questioned her failing marriage. As long as her credit card didn’t falter. Her oldest brother, Dmitri had found it impossible to adapt to the people, and found himself immersed in books and school. The twins, loved to party hard. Her brother Jace, he was the one who seemed to make a million friends and a million enemies. Their parents questioned Trinity’s actions and behaviors. She would be starting school soon, her first day would be hell, most likely. She knew no one and nothing about the cultures and the system of how everything ran smoothly.
Her mother often questioned what her daughter was up to, always in home and reading or stepping out with her mother. She was a silent one, not much had come out of her mouth since the big move. Her eyes always remained on the floor, she never bothered to show much emotions. It wasn’t her thing as of lately. Her mother specifically loved to question everything she did. Why she lacked in her wardrobe and why her hair wasn’t perfect as of lately and her makeup had been left behind. Trinity didn’t want to be constricted anymore. She wanted to run through Manhattan doing as she pleased, which is why she had stepped out today- to get things she wanted and needed. Her heart was pure, but her head was cloudy. Her family was slowly loosening their ties with each other, her mother and father hardly slept together in the same bed. Which is why their home had various guest rooms. They thought the children wouldn’t notice, but sometimes your kids went for midnight snacks and saw father walking into a guestroom and not much could be done.
As the brunette sat there in deep thought, she had ignored her partner sitting across from her, who ate his sandwich in total obliviousness. Her eyes were glassed, too much thought was being processed. She didn’t notice the ice cream melting into a liquidy nothing. It wasn’t until he spoke that she snapped back to reality. “O-Oh…” she said softly, “For-Forgive me, I guess I lost myself again.” She laughed softly, in an attempt to brush off her mistake. “Thank you for earlier again, I would not enjoy having something upon my lips.” She laughed, smiling genuinely now. She felt at ease with this total stranger, Caleb. It was a nice feeling. The first boy of her peers she’d ever met. “I am Trinity.” She said extending her hand and shaking his, her eyes cast away again, onto the scene unfolding inside the café, people getting their drinks, their food and their wants. Her dress hugged her frame as she lifted herself from the table and walked away, inside towards the counter and she retrieved more napkins. She came back, the sounds of her heels clicked and she sat, passing the napkins. “I figured you might want me to pay you back.” She giggled, “If there is anything I can do to pay you back, do let me know Caleb.” She said, his name sounded odd in her mouth. She had never met a Caleb before.
Her French accent was now apparent since she was speaking. “I was shopping for a few things I needed. I start school soon, I know it is a tad bit late, but I just moved here from France and I do require my last year of high school.” She informed him with another one of her genuine smiles. "I believe the school is called Belmont?" she attempted to recall. She looked around and then back at his, her bright blue eyes rivaling his. “You have beautiful eyes.” She commented, tilting her head slightly to admire his stunning good looks. “You know- I do not know my way around here, so I have just been wandering from place to place in search of nothing I guess…” she said with a laugh again, friendly Trinity was now in a cheery mood all thanks to her sundae stranger.
