» OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Intelligent. Willow is enthralled by knowledge. She believes that she has one life to live, so as long as she's alive she wants to learn as much as she can about the world around her. She reads incessantly and also enjoys writing occasionally. Her mother always enforced good grades with both Willow and her brother, but Willow takes school far more seriously.
Partier. While during the day Willow might seem like one of those quiet intellectual types, the night life brings out the party girl in her. She often goes by the alias of B. as an escape from being herself. A socialite, Willow knows people in various places, but works to keep up appearances for her mother's sake.
Kindhearted. Willow has always had a soft spot for animals, nature and all living things. At age 9 she became a vegetarian and 13 a vegan. She had forced her mother to adopt all 3 of her dogs and both cats from an animal shelter. She tutors younger children and volunteers at the elementary school functions. Though her brother is older, she still acts very maternally towards him, often worrying about his not so admirable social behavior. Her group of friends often call her the "mom" of the group, the one who holds someone's hair back as they hug the club restroom toilet, or bring the box of oreos after a bad break up.
Overbooked. Willow tends to bite off more than she can chew. She likes to be involved with everything and has a hard time saying no. She's one of those people that doesn't know the mean in of boredom. She gets jittery and anxious if she's not doing something because she feels like she's forge ting something to do. Everyone who knows her relies on her and trusts her to get things done. She planned nearly all of her schools dances single handedly, helped her mother plan fundraisers, built sets for her school play, and was on the yearbook committee. While she enjoys everything she does, she often wishes she had more time for herself. The pressure to always get things done sometimes becomes a little too much for Willow. When she was helping her mother plan her marriage to a man she couldn't stand, the stress became too much and she became anorexic. Willow constantly thought that by becoming skinnier and planning everything for her mother's wedding that maybe she would finally gave her approval. While she still battles with her eating dissorder from time to time, she is working to move on and focus on the more important things. She's learning that she's probably never going to gain her mother's acceptance. She forgets that being a little selfish isn't always a bad thing.

» HISTORY: Willow, the classic all American girl. Her mother has made very sure of that. As vice president of a major New York gossip magazine, Ms. Conners was always concerned with how her family appeared to the rest of the world. This often involved strict rules and an overly analytical mother. While on the outside their family was a picture of perfection, behind closed doors things at home were tense. Willow often fought with her mother, her brother spent many nights MIA, and there was the ever elusive biological father of the Conners siblings. When his youngest child was only 2 years old, Daniel Conners disappeared without notice. His wife worked to prove to everyone that she could raise two children and still have the perfect life. She passed this determination on to her children, manipulating their lives to better their reputation.
Growing up, Ms. Conners encouraged her children to be the best at whatever they did. In elementary school, Willow always got the highest grades, the kid that went above and beyond whatever the teacher required for projects. She was always considered to be wise beyond her years, able to keep up conversations with adults better than she could with kids her own age.
In middle school, she became the center of attention after her mother hosted the "moving up" party of the century in their new pent house apartment compliments of her mother's newest boyfriend. After that, she was well known by everyone in her grade, as well as some upperclassmen. Everyone wanted to be her friend, everyone wanted to know her. But truth was, no one could know her. She never told anyone about her life at home. How her mother was so distant and never seemed to appreciate all the things Willow accomplished. Nothing Willow ever did seemed to be enough for her mother. But whenever Willow slipped up, her mother was quick to yell and lecture - like Willow even listened anymore. She strived to be perfect for her mother's approval, but it seemed that that was impossible. It was "keep up the appearances or be shunned from the family". The pressure to always look and be the best became too much by the time Willow turned 13.
Teenage angst set in and another side of Willow came out. She discovered upper east side night life. The underground parties and raves became a life of their own, and to keep party life and appearances from clashing, Willow created an alter ego, B, based off her favorite fictional upper east side socialite, Blair Waldorf.
Willow's mother remarried when she was 15 to a man that would only add to the already pristine reputation of their family. After reading about her mother's wedding in papers, tabloids, and all over the internet, a question began to stir inside her - was there anything wrong with their family? And even if there wasn't, why did that bother her? Willow pondered over this for months, and something inside told her that the father she never knew was the answer. It tugged at her heart strings and she considered many times attempting to make contact with him, even if it meant running away from home. Only time will tell if the longing to know the man who had left her behind is strong enough to pull her away from all she's ever known.

» RP SAMPLE:write it here; She sat in the corner of the cafe, steaming cappuccino in front of her, laptop open, and a textbook that probably weighed just as much as she did lay open in her lap. Her long black hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail, out of her eyes and drooping over her left shoulder. With SATs, ACTs, and finals only a week away, Willow Conners had dedicated a good four hours to sitting at the same table at the same Starbucks on fifth avenue everyday after school. The baristas had come to know her by name, they had her drink made before she even walked in the door, and knew enough not to interrupt her unless you were refilling her cup.
Sure she could go home and study in her room. But that required going home, and that was not something she wanted to do. The fact that it was more quiet and peaceful in the middle of one of the most populated starbucks in new york city, and she felt more comfortable in the presence of strangers than in her own home should say something in itself. Here, her mother couldn't nag her, she couldn't hear her brother storm out the door, or sneak back into his room. Here in Starbucks, everyone was living in their own world, going about their own business, and no one knew about Willow's personal life. In fact, unless they were avid tabloid and gossip column readers, they had no idea who she was. And Willow loved that. Anything to step out of the idealistic bubble her mother forced their family to live in.
Now with Johnathan in their lives, things were even worse. Seeing Mommy Independant with Mr. Perfect was too weird for Willow to handle, even 5 months after their wedding. When they dated, she never thought they'd last more than a few weeks. But weeks turned into months, and months turned into two years until Johnathan finally popped the question. Neither Willow nor her brother, Neil, could come close to calling Johnathan "father" or "dad". It was just too weird.
Willow resorted to studying her pretty little Harvard bound, Juicy covered butt off to focus her mind on something other than the confusion going on at home. But today, not even AP US History could keep her focused. She threw her pen onto the table in frustration. It skidded across the smooth surface and dropped onto the floor. Willow pushed her bangs back across her head and huffed, staring at her phone. It was just like any other day. Her mother had sent her a text during class and Willow hadn't answered right away for obvious reasons. When she finally did, her mother replied with a snappy remark and Willow replied to that with a bit of an attitude and her mother called her out on it. It was the final straw in a series of events from the past week and Willow had had just about enough of it. She was tired of hiding her anger from her mother, from the world.
Willow sat back, still looking at her phone as if it, instead of the person sending messages to it, had mad her feel as bad as she felt. She crossed her arms, grinding her jaw. She was sure everyone that walked past her on their way out the door could see just how angry she was, but at that point, she didn't care anymore.
